need excel help.

I’m doing some tracking of errors at work…

We get a report emailed every half hour with batch numbers on it, and other information.

The report comes in rainbow colors I swear to God… Sometimes its red with green background, other times it is yellow.

The email that I get has the batches laid out in grid like a spreadsheet.

I need to copy/paste into a spreadsheet that I have made for error tracking.

How can I paste without all the weird formatting? I’ve messed with the cell properties in excel to make them just standard text, but I can’t figure it out.

A paste with formatting always goes through, or sometimes I get white text which is AWESOME…

i added the Paste Special Values button to my excel toolbar. I swear by it.

I also have a program installed called PureText.
If I copy (Ctrl+C) then press Windows Key+V, it will paste into anything as values.
