Ok

So i have a spreadsheet that is tracking a very long process

I have several rows for each item to be processed and each column is a process

I have everything setup but the conditional format. I have the condition written correctly i think(its setup to work “if value = change color red” bla bla bla.

i want to be able to quickly copy and paste my conditional format across a 5x25 table so i can change the status with color changes. my problem is after I copy and paste the condition references the host cell that I copied… so if i change the host cell status, the destination cell that I copied to changes…

ya i got it…

and my host cell was messed. its easy… just use the format painter.

my host cell had bad formatting data in it.
