I’m looking to get whole house in my townhouse… it already has forced air heat, i imagine all i need is the condensing unit and the lines plumbed to the furnace. i believe you also need a 220 line, but i’m not certain seeing as though i don’t know much about it. The only catch is where i live, they want whoever does work to be licensed.

The one good thing about that is it keeps alot of retards from working their HVAC magic. You would die if you saw some of the crap I run into where I’m at.
There is no licensing requirement in PA. You should see places like NC and NY, they are great. No assholes out of the back of their truck that undercut legitimate guys like me, then pack up shop in 6 months or a year. Then their former customers try to call them and they are packed up and gone and that is it.
