Who thinks the Oilers will make it to the playoffs this year?
And on a side note, what is everyone’s opinion on the new goalie acquisition?
I’m a casual fan. I don’t really follow the team that much, but I do watch the occasional game and all the playoff games. I think Rolousson (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) has been a good acquisition for the team thus far. There is only so much you can expect the goalie to do, I mean, if you can’t defend your own end and aren’t generating much offense, it’s hardly the goalie’s fault when you lose.
I agree with that, I think Roloson is better than Conklin and Markanen.
However I would’ve kept Morrison.
And has anyone else noticed Roloson’s strange stance? He gets awfully low.
If you happened to catcth the game last night, Rolson did a horrendous job of goaltending. The Oilers defense was solid last night, and Roloson allowed 2 goals on 4 shots in the third.
These were all through the five hole. :vom:

Rolli is a good tender but like calgary said , not no. 1 material. Useless markanin would have been a good number one but Mac T has the philosophy " you win you play" and wouldn’t give any of the keepers a chance to bounce back.

Morrison will be back after the season, mac t wanted ottawa to help them out with the 3 goalie problem and they needed a extra goalie. so they take morrison for next to nothing till hasek is better and we dont have tomany goalies. but I THINK morrison will be back for next season.
and btw well make the playoffs and make it to the second rouind.

did u see the game i saw and i was there. all 3 goals we let in on odd man rushs. 1. matt green pinches puck goes pass him 2 on 1 guy passes and rolli has no help 2. same thing except it was spack who pinched shot this time instead of passing, just got thru under his arm. 3. cant remember but i think that one rolli should have had.
rolli is a good goalie. he needs time to get in the groove. how bout samsonov first goal of the night. fucking awsome, almost fell down the stairs screeming at that one.
Yah I hear ya phat. I’m not doubting Roli, I think he’s quite good myself, and I know all too
well the slumps that a goalie goes through, being that I play net myself.
Hopefully the Oil will beat out the Kings tonight, and Roloson has another strong game like in Vancouver.
