Thanksgiving dinner was good, I went out that night to see ATB at the Statler, and for the first time ever, I got punched by someone for talking to some girl. Not hard, but enough to piss me off, he had five of his friends with him. I walked away like a BITCH!
Went out shopping after the show with my Uncle at 4am and got a girl’s phone number. I guess it turned out ok.
I have 2 nieces and a nephew. The nieces are babies and so easy. My nephew Charles is 6. He loves hockey, trying to fight me, NHL 13, and running away from me when I utilize his nerf arsenal and try to shoot him as he dives around the house.
Oh, and also he laughs hysterically when I grab him by the chest and shake him (seriously)
The worst part about the kid is that his hands are always sticky for some reason. Grosses me right out

But how many people are really going to come on a board like this talking about how they can’t afford to have a turkey dinner; or had to get a free one from the food pantry, or a meal from a homeless shelter? Having to pull together a few $$ that you don’t really have, to get food for a “special dinner” and try and put on a happy face for the kids so they don’t see you doing everything to keep your sanity together for them and not put your adult burdens on them; even though they know what’s going on… Then eating turkey in every form possible for the next 2-4 weeks because you don’t have $$ for additional groceries to eat anything else.
Make an offer and it is yours.
You probably ruined their day as well 
It’s a PITA to have people stay over. especially when they have kids.
mine was ok. had dinner with the parents. was meh. not very good cooks but hey its a cooked meal. :tup:

My long weekend was meh with travel and family obligations, but it surely beat going to work and some shitty dinner I would have made myself, lol. Fortunately I didn’t have to deal with any sticky fingered kids, just my parents new puppy… so that was cool.
Welp that is an interesting Thanksgiving.

Way more fun than the mixed family stuff on Thursday.

I worked. Our crew brought in a tgiving dinner…didn’t get to eat til late because, like usual, everyone turned suicidal on a holiday keeping us busy.
