I need to get 2 crowns on 2 teeth that I chipped badly but I dont have any dental insurance. Im sure that there is going to be a range on cost but does anyone know how much something like that should cost? Anyone get a crown before and have to pay 100% out of pocket?
I searched the net and got a range of $400- $2300 per tooth but I figure that some has had to have gotten one and can contribute. Thanks
for a price i could check but i would need to know tooth #('s) and what meds were going into you…or you can just open phone book and call.really only way to do it i can only tell you a avg price. right now not having the ins your at the mercy of the doc or bill dept… cheepest place and best IMO would be like UB dental or any type of school…that is wher we send people w/o the ins…have you tryed to get dental ins threw a company like delta
No. Ive looked into it but not seriously. If I were to try and get insurance now through them, would it matter that I have an existing dental issue? I dont know how that stuff works.
The teeth that need the crowns are my upper right lateral and upper right cuspid I think.
with most dental not all there is not a per ex. condition like health insurance… regardles if there was or not you would have had to be see in the past 6 months for the condition something like this is not a on going thing where you go every month to get checks so it would fall out of the pre ex condition anyway… now does your employer not offer it or did you not take it? lets start here
WESTIMINSTER or whatever it is in east auarora can do the repair with out crowns. I had a tooth that no one would fix without doing a rootcanal and they did it. Been fine ever since, cost me $280 to have 1 tooth fixed
Employer does not offer it. Parents cant help either. Im 22 yrs old and havent gone to the dentist in a little over a year. Ive thought about going to the UB dental school to see if they can do it but Ive never know anyone who has gone there to find out how to start.
That was actually my last dentist. They are awesome there but they were really expensive for normal procedures (according to my parents). It sounds like you shopped around before getting the procedure done, does it cost anything to get a consoltation and have them tell you what needs to be done?
My employer doesnt offer dental and I can’t get it through my parents. Ive thought about going to the UB dental school but I dont know anyone who does go there so I dont even know how to set up an appointment.
The biggest thing is that my budget it tight so I need it done right but its gotta be as easy as possible on my wallet.
