Anyone hack a GPS?

I got an Insignia NS-NAV01 for pretty cheap. The main complaint with this model seems to be the software. So this is a WinCE based GPS, so I set out looking to hack it. I found MioPocket, and I have been trying to use version 4 with no luck. I just wanted to see if anyone else here has done this and got it to work properly?

Not that particular GPS, but I put TomTom on my Mio 310x before via hax. You need activesync to run on it, then you can wreak havoc.

what are the gains of hacking a gps?

Well the one I got, is fairly cheap, but has the ability to run better software, like a Garmin or TomTom. But also depending on the model, they can be as useful as a PDA. I am supposed to be able to use email and have games on this one, I just need to get the core firmware working. I am going to try an older version of the MioPocket program, and see if that makes a difference. Also free, more detailed maps is a plus, lol

wow i never would have thought you could hack a gps aha
