I have the iphone now and it can’t get a signal worth a shit and im constantly dropping calls (go figure).
So I’m looking to get out and since I already have the data plan I’ve been looking at the blackberry*pearl or the Blackjack. I would switch providers but I’m 99% sure its just the phone, plus it would probably cost me about the same to switch as it would to buying a new phone.
Just wondering how the phone service is with these PDAs.
pearl is pretty good reception, could just be the service…
can’t tell you about the blackjack. Typically a blackberry gets better reception than most other PDA phones.
i could be wrong, but i dont think the cost of the iphone data plan = the cost of the bb data plan
if that matters…
Wifey has the blackjack. In most remote areas i get better reception on my razor than she does on the BJ. Maybe it’s just bcause my razor is filled with metal dust and shavings but i somehow doubt it.
