Dont go to sky king, go to phantom. sky king is more expensive and they aren’t giving as good of deals as phantom.
Phantom > Sky King. I’ve been in and bought from both. Also, i spent 300 or so at Phantom and walked out with about 800 worth of shit. Also, They’re not gonna set up a road block on a major thruway, or stop randomly. Drive responsibly and you’ll be fine. Look on the phantom site fireworks.com for coupons. I had 4 troopers pass me on the 90 on the way home with the trunk in my civic full, and some bigger stuff in the back seat. Like Firehawk said, they’ll only pull you over if they have a reason to, and just make sure you have a believable story so they don’t feel it necessary to search your car.

I’m pretty sure state troopers do not need a warrant to search your vehicle. If they want to, they can and will.
Just don’t give them a reason to pull you over in the first place.

wow there were more cops in the actual store (phantom) i didnt see ANY cop driving at all! bought 1 uncle abe got one free and a free pack of a shitload of bottle rockets.
No cop can search your vehicle without probable cause. If they think you have fireworks but no reason to search it (ie. you don’t have any in the open) they can not search you. Lots of cops might ask you but you have the right to say no.
Only people who can search your car or anything you own for no reason is customs.

If you’re REALLY paranoid about getting caught, a good way to come up with a decent alibi is to get off at the Silver Creek exit on the way home…then get right back on the 90. That way, if you are pulled over and asked where you’re coming from/going, you can say from a friend’s cottage at Sunset Beach…and you’ll have the toll ticket to prove where you got on the thruway…
