Anyone help me put on my front brakes Thursday?

I get out of work at 5:30, I have my front brake rotors and pads that I need replaced.

It will require an impact wrench (Screwdriver you beat to hell with a hammer to get it to turn a very tight and soft screw)

I want someone with experience, whos actually done brakes. I’ll pay you to help me out. I’m in the williamsville area, but will drive (ever so slowly) to your place if you’ve got the tools and talent to help me out

Anyone have a shop, available tomorrow night?

THanks

Me

EDIT: ALL Set, thanks for the help guys  Lots of responses!

what kind of car? a honda i presume

If it’s a Honda make sure the shims came with the pads or buy them. Bad past experiences have proven to my mother that they are needed. Where do you work? Brakes are my specialty

hey Jeff, I am in cheektowaga at 560 Cayuga creek rd.

You are more than welcome to bring your car over here, and i can do the brakes for you. I have a full tool setup, and a little bit of garage space to spare. I think I have done at least 50 brake jobs, so experience is covered.

Just shoot me a pm tomorrow or whenever, i will check periodically.

Mike

Jeff,

Check your PMs, I said that I could do them tonight, just be over after 5pm.

That’s why I asked where you worked, could do it in the parking lot. haha

What car is it on? Are the rotors pressed on or no, I live in Williamsville right near North High School

AHHAHA! I didn’t realize there was an “Oh crap I need help like now” forum!

Found someone, thanks all

or u take ur handy cordless drill and the drill the head out because u dont need the screw anyway its only there for assembly line purposes

I was just reading this on my Mazda 6 forums. How dumb…

If we strip em, at least I know that its not a needed part of reassembly

Yea its pretty pointless
