I have some possible work to be done retrofitting a central a/c system into existing ductwork. Lmk and I’ll go into details there
not an Hvac tech… but its a fairly simple job… wouldn’t be surprised if theres a few guys on here that have done it a time or two
Yea that’s what I’m thinking. I just need to add the coil into the duct work, i’ve got the other big parts from an older house
Basicly thats it, running the lines from the outside unit into the Hood on the system where the coil is going to be, a litlte more to it then that as it dpeends on the unit but its not to difficult at all, just a little time. Setting up the new thermostat control is probably going to be more of a pita then that haha
Setting up the thermostat is the easiest part of that entire job.

:rofl @ Shady
I’m more worried about sweating the lines, etc and filling the unit with freon.
Setting up the thermostat and running a power and d/c is one of the easiest parts of the job honestly
My brother might be able to help you… Want his number? He works for choice
Bro hit me up a good bro does this shit daily bro
Word. My good buddy also. Prolly the same bro
Wait which bro are you talking about
Dave Heppelle BRO
Yea BRO
Not mine, wiring it etc was easy, but programming the fucking thing was a nightmare :rofl
Probably because you left a few steps out…
You tell em STEVE
That’s user error then.

If you have any Questions you can PM me.
You should NEVER sweat A/C lines!!! Should always be brazed! Acid from the flux breaks down compressor winding insulation!.. A big No no… Leads to EPIC fail. Sure it may not happen right away, but you reduce the life expectancy of the unit. The more fittings/sweats = more contamination.
was only quoting what briefly came up in a google search, no trade offense was intended !
looking forward to workin with ya
