You cant use TOO much water, typically its a Windex sized water bottle with a few drops of dish soap.
I think it looks badass…and with tinted windows, I think it will complete my body…
Bring it to someone that knows what the fuck they are doing, and will buy a new one if they fuck it up.
if you were rolling on some slicks and skinnies it would look better all together.
i agree with that.
Yeah, it’s just a matter of letting people that specialize in things do their thing. For example, some people think it’s odd that I don’t assemble shortblocks, but the fact of the matter is that my engine builder does it better then anyone in the area. Example, he did all the machine work on Ray’s bottom end and assembled it also. Still running strong and kicking ass over 3 years later with a lot boost ran thru it. I know it’s not exactly the right thing to compare to a hood decal, but the point remains the same.
Use the heat gun to warm up the vinyl so you can stretch it and lay it out flat, as you squeegee the soapy water out from underneath.
When making it, use a TINY amount of dish detergent in an ENTIRE spray bottle of water. Heat is your friend, just dont keep it on there too long or it’ll melt the vinyl. Do it in a warm garage.
Come on that sticker is so easy to put on. Just use the spray bottle with soap and water. Thats what I use to use when I worked at Infamous Graphics
Thanks sean, 5 people have said that :lol
:ponder I do have this decal application shit I got for free when I ordered my number plates for my YZ250F…worked really well.
Why is this thread still going then…post pics of end result
Yea I have a bunch of those too when I ordered from Decal Works. I wouldn’t use one of those on that though, that vinyl he is trying to apply is really thin compared to the stuff you put on dirtbikes and that type of hard card might mess it up.
so, i stoped reading after a page and a half of bashing, if you still need this done i will do it for you. i’m pretty good at doing graphics. i have put on a windshield banner without measuring and have it go on perfectly centered. i apply all my own shit so i have some practice. pm me if you still need some help.
Yeahhhh! Decal Works is where mine are from as well.
sent you a PM
kidacamaro98 WTF?
what?
You should get this as a vinyl for down the side.
well, I finally got around to putting it on…came out pretty good IMO for my first time doing car graphics…theirs some little air bubbles but the instructions said once the car sits in the sun, they will go away much like window tint…anyways, heres pics…
that looks OK?
doesn’t look like enough room to install a cam!
im not doing the cam install.
I put on my drilled and slotted rotors also…took me a whole of 20 minutes lol
