I was using a 1gb flash drive regularly but file sizes are starting to become a real problem. I picked up an external HDD enclosure and finally got it running which will probably replace the Flash drive for most uses.
I’d like to throw some simple applications on it and possibly some time killer games and such, just to have them around. Now, not all the computers I’m using this on will have said software installed, obviously. Can you recommend a software application that will let me convert an application from something that needs to be installed and edit the registry, to something that will run locally, regardless of which machine it’s on (long as it’s compatible)?
So, for instance, install CS3 on the external and run it from any machine?
I’m sure the IT guys have had to of used something for this.
any help?
