honestly you can buy a new CV for same price/little more than just a boot. i would replace the whole thing IMO.
Dykes work well, unless you squeeze to hard.
boot was 13.94, CV(64.95). cv was still good.
Ill try the dykes, I didnt want to cut the clamp. cool thanks!
