So, I haven’t played my PS2 in probably 5 months. I went to get it out today, dusted it off, popped in GT4, and it wouldn’t work.
The system powers on, but the disk won’t spin.
Any ideas?
i have a ps2 with a non functional controller port(first one)…you can come by and we can swap out the disk drives to try and fix the problem
i’ve seen eject switches get stuck open so that the console thought it was open and woulnd’t spin… otherwise, take it apart and see if the laser adjusts and tries to read or not.
i also have a hacked up ps2 that works and a nice one for sale :kekegay:
^^ what he said, take off the top,clean the eye n adjust it and u should be good…
It is not registering the CD being in there or the eye might be cock eyed or to dirty…
