Anyone know of a place to get drag racing statistics?

I am taking this Statistics for Data Mining course, and I am trying to write an interesting paper showing how cars have become faster over the years. Does anyone know of any place that has a bunch of statistical data for NHRA or other racing types?

In a perfect world, I would find hundreds of entries listing driver name, ET, MPH, and maybe other data such as 60’, year, track, etc…

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I found this site, which has maybe around a hundred entries, but that is pretty small, and the data is not delimited correctly, so I would have to go through each entry and fiddle around with it.

http://www.dragtimes.com/ might help some

Something like this would be perfect, if it had more data, but they only show 40 entries. I am definitely looking around this site though!

Like this?

or are you trying to compare like top fuel drag car progression?

There are a whole lot more than 40 entries on that site. hell there are 79 just for the ford taurus alone. There are probably thousands for popular cars. The data on that site might not be what you are looking for though because car modifications may throw off the data you are trying to assemble. Too bad there is not a yearly 1/4 mile listing like onyx had on Nyspeed dating back to the UBRF days. That would be perfect.

How about just comparing the numbers put out by the factory?
