Driftbox 60-130 MPH times

I trust that all times are recorded on a closed course under controlled conditions. They must be run on a Racelogic box or similar system. I have logs from my standalone from last year of mid 6’s 60-130, but they don’t count since the speedo won’t be dead on and there’s wheelspin, both of which can’t skew Racelogic box readings.

Buffalo’s own version of Ghostrider borrowed the Driftbox today and recorded a 60-130 mph time of 5.50 seconds. The Buggati Veyron does it in 5.6 LOL.

593.815 feet - start elevation
586.839 feet - end elevation

This is within the allowed elevation change of 3% change over the distance covered. He’s actually just under 1%.

Other data recorded:
Max recorded speed was 166.58 mph as confirmed by 7 GPS satellites.

50-100 mph was 3.10 seconds LOL

0-60 was 3.80

?

You have to be able to see the unit to trigger a HP pull so that wasn’t done.

Actually the engineer claims he will surpass this 60-130. We shall see…

hmmm…

Really impressive!

pics of the car?

Bike.

well, now it makes sense…

That pretty cool. I wish I had the extra money for one of these. I know who ghost rider is!!!

btw. the bike has baffles and -1, +2 GEARING. thats it for mods. “he” didnt really do a 0-60 run, only one time leaving a light, i know it could get to sub 3’s. thanks mike for letting me do this. Id love to do it again hahaha.

Btw. who wants to try and beat it?

That’s cool and all but comparing it to a Veyron that is rock solid stable to over 250 and is geared to that as well, apples to oranges. Bikes can’t do 250, they hit a wall right around 200. It’s like when someone in a civic beats someone from 0-130 but runs out of gear and gets passed. It’s all in what the car really has to offer. Bikes are quick but not fast.

ummmm… most races are won from 0-100 most of the time… i cant imagine going over 180 on a bike. my gsxr was geared -1 in the rear, it would go a 189 gps confirmed. (no point though) id rather have a bike that accelerated faster.

and bikes dont hit a wall at 200… bikes are capable of going faster, they are governed by the manufacturers. meh. no reason to argue. I’m not a car guy. oh yea… my bike sub 10k… payments on your veyron 10k plus.

rock solid to 354 mph. take that.

Why did you bother posting this? Comparing a bike to a car in general is of course two different worlds, but who the fuck cares. It’s just cool information. A “fun fact” if you will.

And x2 about a bike being sub 10k.

shutup.

:hay: i do.

Very Awesome!

…and I’ll leave stuff like that to crazy people and ghosts

i wish i had it in the bike when i ran at NYI… oh well.

btw, the who wants to beat it comment was refering to
“Actually the engineer claims he will surpass this 60-130. We shall see…”

whos that?
