Anyone know this guy?

Sami Kamci. supposedly runs a shop in Oakville called Driven Autosports. i’ve seen this car around before, actually just the other day on my way to Guelph it passed me on the 401.

but i was wondering if anyone could attest to what kind of guy he is? or if anyone knew him personally?

reason i’m asking: he wants to trade me an S13 hatch with SR for my 944, and wants to meet me in Burlington tomorrow so we can check out each other’s cars. when i google earth the address he gave me, it shows me a dead-end street. there are buildings at the end of it, but i can’t make out if any of them are garages or what. his shop is also in oakville and not burlington so i have little red flags going up in my head.

driven autosports is also not listed on 411.ca, nor does any business come up for the address he gave me.

i just want to cover my bases before going down there. i’ve asked him 2 times through e-mails for his phone number and he still hasn’t provided it to me. and i only found his name by googling Driven Autosports.

Facebook says his current location is Vancouver. this might help… http://forums.gtrcanada.com/eastern-region/t-driven-autosports-49473.html

IMHO, never trust a Turk.

^^ yeah that’s actually the link where i found his name. thanks though.

his e-mails show up in my inbox as “S K” which is why i had to search to find his name.

and i’m not lying; the car i saw on the 401 was that EXACT R33. the colour aero and carbon hood were all exactly as appears in that picture. so unless somebody else is driving his car, i doubt he’s in Vancouver…

edit if i had been perceptive enough, i would have noticed his phone number is in the last post on that link. i’m going to try calling him right now…

edit 2 “the number you have reached is not in service. please try again.”

just take a buddy with you and a couple of bats or whatever and check it out

shitty thing is the only chance i’ll have to go is during the day, when all of my buddies are at work.

anybody got a louisville slugger and some free time tomorrow?

I dont think anyones gunna try to steal your 944
Just meet him at a police station

  1. meet him at a tim’s or somewhere public
  2. bring a friend / bats

i’d probably try #1

this.

hahaha

I feel for your concern though. although I bet there is a big plaza in that “dead end” on google maps now, it’s probably a 5 year old sat photo.

Why are you even pursuing this after seeing 3-4 sketch things?!

I’ve met Sammy before. I didn’t find him to be sketchy at all but I’m a bad judge of character.

This is not a complete bit of information but the last scammer to hit SON claimed to work at Driven.

When I buy something like a car off of someone I always make sure I am being invited to their house for the transaction. When they want to meet you anywhere other than that its shady. Cause if everything is legit then there is nothing to worry about for the seller.

^^ pretty much exactly what i said in my last e-mail to him. meet me at your house or go fuck yourself.

and i already knew my car wasn’t worth stealing lol so thanks anyways…assholes!

I saw this guy on brant and upper middle in Burlington.

I live in Burlington and have only once seen this guy in my area

this orange r33 has a new owner and we (pur auto) just swapped a rb25det into it…owners name is kyle …

MODS: Please delete. This is from 2010. I am Sami kamci owner of driven Autosports, this is my autoglass and upholstery company. I’ve done work for tons of people on this forum, and everyone was happy with the service. But I don’t like this post it shows up on google first page, it’s just not good for my business.

Thanks
Sami kamci
