getting a registration key is your own responsibility, but i know that w/ 11, if you just roll back your computers clock to the original install month, THEN start corel, it puts you back in the “30 day trial” period.
who wants it ?
No one likes to pay for software, but I found out recently that Corel won’t check any old media or an old serial if you buy an upgrade. We just bought the upgrade for Corel Draw Suite 12 for $159. Nowhere during the purchase did it ask to verify any old serials.
We own “Corel Draw Essentials,” which normally doesn’t qualify for an upgrade. It was recently added to the list of upgradeable versions, which makes me assume the install won’t be checking for anything, because I HIGHLY doubt they’d recompile their install and print new discs just to allow for upgrades from other items.
On a side note about Corel’s awesome security (or lack thereof) Corel Draw 8 allows the Serial number of DR8XR-1234567890 :eek:
