Anyone with any pull at Moog?

It is a cult and you need to know the secret handshake.
We have been around longer than Moog, we machine aerospace parts for companies waaaay bigger than Moog, my dad even plays golf with some of the execs but the guys that do the outsourcing won’t even return our calls.
Maybe they are getting big kickbacks from their current vendors.:gotme:
I do know some of the shops that do work for them and there is no way they have the so-called quality and calibration systems MOOG supposedly requires.

They do seem to have an endless supply of taxpayer money.
Its a good gig if you can get it.

But to answer your question no I don’t know the secret handshake.lol

I turned Moog down as I had just started @ praxair…
Katie liked me, but it took over a month to get an offer.

I saw the listing for Product Engineer and thought about applying again, but need to
update my resume with all the new hotness I picked up here.

All depends on what Division they’re making parts for. Industrial/Components don’t have the same quality requirements that Aerospace/Space & Defense does.

And then throw in Medical Devices and there’s a whole different set of Quality Requirements.

Across Moog, there’s 3 different but similar Quality Control Systems; but all have different requirements and different governing bodies that control them.

Moog is not an easy place to get into by any means. But most people who do get in… don’t leave.

I got a friend of mine in there after a couple weeks. Didn’t seem to be a problem at all. I may know a manager or 2 there, but it depends on what department they are applying for.
