I work at Moog, and from what I see, you need to know a hiring manager to have ANY real help getting in. Just tell him to be awesome.

What division is he applying to? Or does he have any names that he’s talked to yet?

 Yeah Katie, my son’s friend’s friend put in a resume. Rumor has it he’s awesome. Hire him would you?

Besides, I’m awesome and didn’t get past the telephone interview. They claimed they pulled the job posting and are only looking for people with more experience. I think they were just intimidated by my sexy voice.

or maybe you introduced yourself as boaterfry and didn’t realize it, so they thought you were strange.

I applaud you if you can get in. My dad has worked there for 25 years and I interviewed for 2 divisions, good grades, relevant work and management experience, first interview, second interview and then nothing. I called the hiring contact a dozen times before she told me that the position was no longer available.

x2^^^, what makes it so great?? i wanna work for kawasaki =D

supply and demand? :gotme: lol.

Moog is a HIGHLY profitable company which translates to job security

and they probably pay well

and it’s in buffalo

that’s why it’s so special.

well thats obv. =p, they do pay well, i was told cameron does not

i was called back about a job at moog a few weeks ago and that ran dry. no call backs after. i sent an email and got nothing. The pay was a few bucs/hr less then what i made at cameron. i guess ill just have to hang tight till i get called back to cameron.

Moog is an awesome place to work for. They pay well for WNY, especially for engineering. And it’s just a totally different work environment from any other place I’ve been. Who knows, maybe I just got to work with great people, but my experience there has been nothing but positive.

For anyone that applies there, you have to keep in mind that a big part of their hiring process is based on how they think you will work with other people as a team, not just your personal skills. Seems like they value this more than most other places.

lots of govt. contracts
