I’m not sure this is the right section, but it kinda fits. Who on here has off road vehicles? I just got back into snowmobiling after a few seasons off, but I’m loving it again. 01 ZR800, 141 hp and 102 ft/lbs @ 7400. I’ve also got some D & D twin pipes on it for a few horse, an aftermarket can, and a custom clutching setup. VForce 3 reeds as well, with appropriate jetting. Quick to say the least at 500lbs. Hoping to put together a 136 long track skid on it this spring\summer from a newer Crossfire. Should gain a shitload more traction and alot more suspension travel, along with a smoother ride over moguls when cruising… Anyway, post up your offroad toys!
at least ya got the zr and not the zrt the triples suck just keep a eye on the chain and tensioner as they weak as shit

Yeah I’ve got the chaincase apart right now to change up the gears, as well as do my driveshaft bearings… I have reverse, so I’ve got the automatic tensioner which is getting replaced when the chaincase goes back together. I’ve locked up a track at 60 before and it was NOT fun 
oh so ya got the weak chaincase, ya do know that ya can get the non reverse setup thats stronger and cheaper for on the cheap,right
i’ve got an 02 raptor 660r that needs a new starter clutch.

That’s what I’ve heard, but I also have heard that there’s people with 10,000 miles on stock chaincases as long as they’re maintained well. I just change the oil 3 times a season or so and hope for the best… If it does happen, though, those are the best excuses for better parts :satan:
Oh, and PJB, stud those tires up and get that thing on the lake! We just plowed two tracks on Round Lake today with the quads, had a few studded dirtbikes and wheelers out already… Just buy $35 worth of self tapping sheet metal screws from Lowes and go to town… Run inner tubes though… I think I even have a set of studded tires off the Banshee from a few years back, they the same size or close to yours?

Nice, where do you ride the sled? Always looking for riding buddies. Usually use the flat deck car trailer, can fit 4 sleds easy or 5 cramming them on… We usually ride South Warren’s trails (park in Lake George), or trailer out to Utica and hit Tug Hill for the day.

i ride alot too but dont own any sleds, my bro has a few sleds , the ones we are gonna try to take up north next weekend are artic cats, 96 rotax 600 and 98 rotax 700
the 600 has studs and does wheelies, the 700 needs studs cuz it just slips around

Yeah, 360 acres is definitely teh win. I love snowmobile wheelies too, I can set mine up to do them but I don’t like that much weight transfer for trail riding, pushing towards a tree at 40 sucks

Cute sled, I had a 03RX1 turbo…sold it after I figured out that everyone would rather talk about their sled rather then ride it.
