Well here is the detail,
Im on Flight 0001 from Chicago to Honolulu for my honeymoon, its a 9hr flight. Does anyone know who i can get to economy to first class? if possible?
Let me know Thanks.
Someones got to know some one that works at united lol
I can throw in a cash incentive for it.
I don’t think you are going to be able to upgrade beforehand without paying for it. When you get to the terminal tell the person at the counter it is your honeymoon and ask if there is anyway they can upgrade your seats to 1st class. If they have seats in 1st class available they usually upgrade their frequent flyers, but I have heard many honeymooners also have success with this upgrade.
3k? whoa. i dont mind paying for it i know it wont be free. but if it would be at a discounted price i would consider it. when i check online the difference between a economy class and first class flight was $300 each person.
but how would i exhange the tickets i have for first class tickets for the differences?
i called united they said when i check in request for a upgrade to first class but they said its based on if its open.
yeah prey there is a snow storm in buffalo when you are trying to leave. thus causing a delay in getting to chicago and missing your original flight. then sweet talk the pretty lady at the ticket counter.
Just fork over $600, that’s a very cheap upgrade for a 9 hour flight. I have been lucky and have been upgraded a few times to 1st class for free, other times its not too expensive to upgrade at the gate if they have seats available. I always ask to upgrade, I only travel about 2-3 times a month so I’m not a real frequent traveler.
since you’re asking, I can assume you aren’t a frequent flier of any worth, so you won’t have any upgrades, or miles to spend on upgrades. if the purchase price difference was only $300 you are a dolt for not purchasing it at the time. if you want to change now you’ll likely not only pay the increase, but also get a reticketing charge.
Upgrades roll through all of the frequent fliers with status first, and then on to the staff level, then and only then to any remaining upgrades get offered for purchase.
Since this isn’t a lower 48 flight, you’ll also need an upgradable fare, which are typically far more expensive than the discount fares you likely purchased.
The only way you’d get a “free” upgrade without any of the aforementioned qualifications and no travel disruptions is to be extremely lucky, in which case I’d recommend playing the lottery as it will be much more rewarding.
im not trying to upgrade my whole trip to first class just my flight from chicago to honolulu, that all so price will decrease alot.
I think that is where the confusion is.
Im not trying to upgrade my whole flight agenda to first class just 1 flight out of the 5 flights i have for my whole trip lol.
