Well I bought my Civic origionally for $300
Its a Green 1997 Sedan DX
It needed a Starter ($100ish)
And It needed and still does need body work.
I tried my hand at it, and unfortunatly didnt have time to finish it Before I had to start driving it.
Got my hands on a set of Ebay coilovers. I knew they were shit but they were free and I LOVE my cars LOW
So Sure enough, I slammed it.
Something looked off… So I went to Home Depot and Got myself some Garage Door Trim.
Home Depot Front Lip FTW!
Actually came out pretty sick lookin.
Got a cheap ass set of Yellow Foglights from pepboys. They suck
AND I picked up a Thule Roof rack and a Bike tray off a Local on Team Integra.
And here’s how she looked
Well now, This little Beast got through the WORST storms we had this winter.
I was definatly impressed.
Unfortunatly it has a BAD Misfire in cylinder #2. So it wont pass inspection…
Keeler Honda told the previous owner that it had a bent valve.
Guess what, im still drivin it. Sometimes the Speedometer just randomly stops working too… but whatever.
One day It got Hit at work. Theres a HUGE hole in the Right side of my Front bumper. So, I took a piece of Sheetmetal and Rivited it over the hole. HAHAHAHA
Also threw my hubcaps back on.
Since I go snowboarding every week, I went out and bought a 4 snowboard carrier and a wind fairing for my Thule Roof Rack.
But Yesterday, Myself and Jslack94 Decided to invest in another D series motor.
We picked up a D15.
I plan to replace the Head on my Civic with the Head from the D15 we just picked up.
only because of the Bent valve or whatever on my current head.
Jake Has Big plans to build the D15 bottom end and build the D16 Head off my Civic.
Ill let him post and Fill in the Details of that.
This morning, I put the motor on a Stand and Began to Tear it Appart!
More info will surely follow!
Enjoy!
