Apartment: (house) top or bottom?

Deff the upper.

I live in an upper condo… and from being in the lower ones, I can say being ontop is definitely better.

Rent both and buy a pimp house FTW

haha, your my only man slave.

“noob” i hate you today.

some people prefer the bottom, other’s the top.

that is why I’m asking this question. I’m trying to buy a house (double) right now.

the only thing that sucks about living on top, is that you have to be careful about making too much noise for the ppl downstairs, IMO. Arguing with neighbors = shitty

all these factors would be somewhat lessened by the fact that I’d be the owner/landlord of the house

lol

lol good point

an upper is better solely because its harder for a theif to rob an upper and therefore rarely do it. the guy living below me when i lived on the elmwood strip was robbed and my upper apt wasnt touched eventhough my door to the hallway in the back was unlocked.

My first was a lower and every morning at 7am the little kiddies would be walking to the nearby school and wake me up… then I had to deal with kiddie fights after school … then people started stealing stuff off my front porch on a daily basis, and the upstairs people were sooooo loud.

Now I’m on the top floor, and we get yelled at all the time by the neighbors, even when just watching the TV at a reasonable level, and heaven for bid anyone comes over after midnight and more then 4 people are in one room talking…Then we have to walk down 8 flights of stairs, being on the 4th floor, to get to the laundry in the basement… It’s super f-ing disgustingly hot in the summer, but we have window AC units and lots o’ window fans so it’s ok sometimes…and we don’t pay for heat SO TO HELL WITH HEAT RISING!! It’s FREEZING in here in the winter. But on the plus side, beign up here we don’t have to hear/deal with people for the most part which I love. And oh yeah top floor=it rains in my house…for real…
