you dont care about sound, and obviously you dont care about performance… if you did, you would leave the stock air box under the hood and just toss in a K&N drop-in.

the answer to your question is no 3whp is not worth $700. as a matter of fact you cant even measure that kind of change… that 3hp difference could be from heat soak, or a slight temp change, or about 200 other possible things. so let me restate the obvious. a 0 hp gain is not worth $700.

Also, that money would be much better put towards an alignment, a good set of wheels and tires, and driving instruction.
