to much to respond to, i’ll just say that brian is a really good guy and has always been cool with me, plus he lets me throw apples at his girls ass… so thats a plus.
I really try not to have a problem with people but the only thing i want to clear up is the reason this started.

Someone was talking about a teal hatch sohc turbo, wanting to race joey and supposibly calling joey out… when he asked a group of people standing next to the car if that k20 wanted to race a hatch and they wouldnt say what was done to it, and joey wasn’t standing there. So i told them he’d be back in 20min and they could figure it out. Not knowing it was a rodriquez car at the time, i assumed that its a sohc motor, some newb puerto rican kid, and they are probably just gonna boost the fuck out of the motor till it pops. Thats how they roll down in the lot. So apparently arod gets all bent out of shape trying to defend this car, and viola!! we have this thread.

looks pretty straight to me. the car has always gone straight. Had nothing to do with the crash. The problem already has a cause and corrective action.

This thread sucks, why is there 17 pages of bickering and childish insults. This stuff goes back to the apg forum days where nobody can just leave things alone if they disagree with someone or don’t get along. I thought some of us had grown up a little bit from those days but maybe not. I like to hang out with people that enjoy the same hobby I do, the camaraderie among drag racers and enthusiasts is usually pretty strong. If someone is a dickhead or has a bad attitude then is it so hard to walk away or ignore them? People get so worked up over petty bullshit that they are ready to fist fight and threaten each other?

im aware, the car needs some type of downforce it seems… FWD drag cars dont interest me much though, but its an accomplishment no matter how you look at it. its just a shame he cant be civil about it. his car is always faster than someone elses, or better in some way. or he cant just race to race, its always a pride thing it seems…
off topic(well isnt it all)but i remember going to the old capital car care way back when by colonie center and asking about a valve job(just check the seats, seals, and oem valves)… they told me 1000$ i laughed and walked out… it was for a single cam, d15 from my sisters old old civic she had. car wasnt even worth 1000$.

i know arod will agree with me on this one, i think he needs some more seat time in the car, his VERY first run this year was at etown and ran a 10.56 and didnt qualify…he drives the car maybeeee twice a month, thats pretty damn respectable in my books, if he was in upstate NY where the car is the car would deff. see 9’s no questions asked…alls i know is his car will be out again very shortly, the crash was his fastest run and looks like he just hit the brakes too hard, dont take much for them skinnies to lock up, pull the chute next time alberto
