costing you a national event is driving style. I drive my car daily for 9 months of the year and only broke one thing in the last 3 years which was a 40 buck axle. if you don;t drive like a moron and build it right it will last so that argument doesn’t work.
FMFkid proved driving style is what makes the car. you can go just as fast without power shifting etc. full throttle shift is one thing.
:offtopic: will your turbo even make power at 9000rpm Joe? I think you have a .48 AR exhaust which I doubt will make power much over where you redline now
could john force even make his car street legal and run his times? no.
people are just pussies. mid 9’s in a trailored not even streetable car is lame. sorry as was posted in another thread there is a full field at every import event in the Turbo 4 class with 100% streetable cars if you took the slicks off. Rusty qualified 12th with a 10.34 so how fast do you think the rest of the field is?
My point is made youngin, im done.
i know for a fact if i had accss to a trailer and truck and had a semi race car i would be trailering it no point in puting usless miles on a motoor that is built for racing not drivin on the street
considering i was reving to 8800 before (and making power) i dont think that extra 200 is going to make a considerable differene…powershifting owns…
o yea if your car doesent break ur not driving it like u should
circuit racing > drifting > commute on 376 > drag racing
why do you say that when people make parts last full seasons. the idea is to be reliable no matter if it is a daily or pure race car.
did you dyno taking it to 8800? if not how do you know you are making power up there? if so fill me in on the #'s cause you got one hell of a set up if it does
dyno numbers are over mothafkn rated, i went 11.5xx@126 reving to 8800 thats good enuff for me on bfgs at like 1bar, if im not making power up there its flat up top so i have power for the next gear, hp dyno numbers dont really mean a whole lot to me, I was prob only making 300 whp, and i was fine with that. because i know if i would have put the slicks on that day it would have been mid 10’s.
reliabilty is good, but u cant be a pussy with it…

drifting is prob. more gay than you :jerkit: :spank: :bash:
j/k
i dunno, i am pretty gay :greddy:
I trailered mine to the track. It is easier on person, car and time. I don’t wait in line, unload my car with slicks on already. The car is cooled off. If and when a person breaks I am not waiting for someone to drag my ass home. It costs the same amount whether i trailered it or drove it there. I always looked at it as cheap insurance policy.
CLIFF NOTES-Who gives a f#ck if you trailer it to the track Fast is still fast no matter how you get down the track
true
How am I “almighty” about my car? I am here just like anyone else to offer advice about what i know. And I am a bracket racer, in fact i unhook my truck and run it in street sometimes also enter 2 classes with my racecar. Its all about seat time. Allk out racers? Ok i run ya headsup like i said though for a price
So what national event did you win? I put 150 passes down this year and all i broke was a $3.50 airline fitting. :finger:
The word here is “TURBO” take that off and see what it runs
thasts like saying take off your carb, motor plate, large tires, and minus the stroker…its run what you brung and hes a street car.
My carb? Would’nt that be the equal to the throttle body of a fuel inj car? Humm I have no motor plates and if i did how does that compare to a turbo? Big tires? humm I’m sure i could find some small ones somewhere. Stroker motor? Nope no stroker here :ugh: Quik let me know when you wanna do that headsup race I’ll hook up my brakes lights and give ya a light show from the 60’ on :bigthumb:
only on pittspeed do guys running 9sevens get called out
