Ok once again on the street car theme of things. Theres a car we put togther. Now mind you this is junk pontiac parts we had laying around the garage. This was a mild 455 cube the car has had several other motors and has been much faster. Take your time to read it is very interesting. This would also be the car that wooped the shit out of the gts viper in crafton about 5-6 years ago also.
sweet
that sig is classic A468Bu!!!

FMFkid proved driving style is what makes the car. you can go just as fast without power shifting etc. full throttle shift is one thing.
Rusty qualified 12th with a 10.34 so how fast do you think the rest of the field is?
funny you said that about funny cars as AEM and don nase both have 6 cylinder turbo rail cars making exhibition passes.
Now thats a lot of nut riding for one thread. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
What have you acomplished Sammy? Ok you have ran 10,000 miles in your car and only broke one axle, make the car hook and don’t drive like a pussy and we will see what breaks.
As for me not knowing how to build my car, i have around 350 passes on it in 3 years and i went through one clutch and one broken gas pedal. Ok, not impressive? My car is the fastest in the country with the mods on the car and I have launched at 6500-6800 rpm for everyone of those passes. Hold off on the trash talk till you have something of your own to back it up.

:burnout: damn I love this thread
:hitit:
i like hoe i only have a 11s bike when i had a few 10 passes. dude seroiusly stfu
i do remember that car from crafton
this line made em laugh my ass off. best quote i heard in a while on seeing taillights, lol… now i gotta go back to reading wtf i missed
ok, my take on the deal.
i would love to see turbo tech run angainst the elephant motors, but it will never happen. to many people set in old ways.
as for this bickering on this thread, shut the fuck up allready.; like old ladys arguing over a church bridge game.
a4-- car runs good times, and is consistent-- so i tip my hat to ya. brackets aint my bag, but i respect it. i still go up and try to run when i am actually running. my only question is, dont u get bored running the same time over and over again? Like my goal is to run quick as i can every pass down the track. granted, there is a point that u simply cant go faster. to me, seems bracket guys find this point, and detune for consistency. i could get into running brackets like they have for the efi drags. but a true dial in w/ no index just dont do it for me. but it is another day of track time, so i go. 4 rounds is furthest i ever made it-- not bad for trying to break out every run, lol.
sammy, u got a quick street car. and it is a street car. but there is alot of quicker street cars out there. no one gives a shit if it is a 1.3 liter rotary or a 500+ cube nitorus motor-- when ur in street car realm, anything goes. u got creature comforts in ur car. my car dont have that. does that mean it is not a street car? according to pa inspection/emission laws-- im still a street car. Streetable is simply what u can bare with. id go w/ no dash, a wheel and a tach, and full blown slicks if i was allowed to.
as for the trailer bit, if u got it, it helps. nice to have tools to fix shit when it breaks. i know if my shit finally hits the streets, i will drive the piss out of it locally and will glaldy race anyone. but come race day, it will get loaded on a tow dolly and pulled by a 85 suburban. lock the tools in the rear, sleep in the back seat or bring a tent, and go out of state racing.
this thread is classic ITR Sam.
no u need to learn to stfu. Anyone can go out and buy a bike that runs 10s and no u dont need a good rider to do that either because ur living proof of that.
:naughty: :ugh: :naughty: :ugh: :naughty:
Ok I have read alot of garbage here.
I ask one thing. Sam what is your point in all of this?
You will never prove the superiority of import engines over v8 engines by making apples to oranges comparisons.
You want to compare professional heads up racers to local bracket racers.
You want to compare two completely different classes in you attempt to prove import engine superiority.
Boosted I know this is going to be hard to swallow but in any apples to apples comparison in drag racing the larger cubic inch v8 cars always come out on top. It doesn’t matter if you want to talk fastest street car, fastest track car, fastest car all motor, fastest turbo car, fastest nitrous car, fastest blower car. It doesn’t matter how you want to slice it the fastest in any of these categories is a v8 powered car.
Also please don’t bring up horsepower per litre because I personally own a car engine that has more hp/litre naturally aspirated than a formula 1 engine. Beat that!
if you dont think i can ride get a biek and follow me. if you can seriously hang with me without wrecking then i will glady shake your hand. to then dont try to talk about my riding skills. you just dont have no clue
You have an engine with more than 333 hp/l that is naturally aspirated?
Run what you brung… Type-R Sam, i think youre in a little over your head with this one. That car is fast, and extremely consistant. When you guys are ready to race, we’ll post more about this. Until then, take it to e-fighting or AIM.
