NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. – An adjunct professor at the University at Albany is facing drugs charges after a search warrant was executed at his New Scotland home Tuesday morning. State Police said Scott Davidson is charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and unlawful growing of marijuana, a violation. Investigators seized 80 marijuana plants along with growing equipment, scales and packing materials. Davidson, who is an adjunct professor in UAlbany’s marketing department, was released on appearance tickets.
