I know that they do because I got pulled over about 2 years ago by a cop that was sitting at the end of the tunnels going inbound. They might not sit there often…but they do.

Well all I’m going to say is I have to agree with Eric. The cops do sit on the inbound side watcheing people coming out and occasionally on the outbound side. that started early spring when I think Channel 4 did a report with the state police about how people creep though the tunnels then when the exit its “off to the races”.
I get to travel this route 4-6 days a week twice a day. When traffic is rediculously backed up its either due to rubber neckers for a stupid fender bender, Some one already pulled over and the rubber neckers wathcing or there is a cop on the other side of the tunnel.
Its so fucking anoying. The fucking cops should know sitting there causes even further buack ups then its helping.
