I don’t really play a whole lotta games and I use my computer to watch
movies at times on the TV in the living room (on the GF4 I had a dongle
that I hooked up to the TV using an S-Video or some shit).
You’ll get a marginal performance increase if you go with those Radeons… anything under the 9600.
You’d be hard pressed to find a better card than the ti4600 (they even outperformed the FX5200 and 5600 when they were first introduced to replace the ti line) for $100…
I’d highly recommend saving another $40-75 and going for a decent (never go bottom of the line with vid cards, avoid things that have suffixes like LE, but “Pro” or “GT” are good ;)) card. Your money will be better spent, and will last you longer. Go for a Radeon 9600 Pro or XT, or go up to the GeForce 6600 chipset. Also like Marc said… stick with 128MB - even for games the 128s outperform the 256s in a lot of cases.
