I bought a laptop today. Is this half-decent for a non-gaming macine? Or did I get poked in the sphincter? I paid $749 (marked down from $999)

That nots bad. You can go vista which is nice…turion 64 processors are just lightweight 64bit processors. It’s capable of playing most video games i just wouldnt recommend it. Decent ass amount of RAM and the harddrive is big enough…nice price…great buy…congrats

ehh the cpu may be lacking and the rest is pretty much average by todays standards but def not a ‘gaming machine.’
low speed harddrive … otherwise decent for normal use… is it a 1 gig chip or two 512 chips?
