my reason for saying that is when I had the Passat VR6 with only intake I raced a type R on Autobahn McKnight and I had him all the way up to 140…

I raced a friend of mine who had a Passat VR6 when I had my Prelude. I let him jump on it first from a 20 mph roll. He took about a car length on me, but I was dead even with him by about 60, and was ahead of him the rest of the race.

Everyone knows the driver makes all the difference. Given those cars the gsr should win. I’ve beaten things I had no right beating because they were even worse of a driver than me, but that doesn’t mean my car was faster.
Do you mean stock for stock gsr vs. 18T or modified
I see that you have an h22 or that’s just your UN?

who wins…we both drive 1.8T’s. The vr you said is
a 99, that is the year that they changed body styles
so the older body will be faster ofcourse, but a gsr
should own stock for stock.

I think i lined up with one once in my h23a accord… like blacky, he jumped, but i had a car on him by 3rd gear maybe? :dunno:
