cause it's hard to drive a chumpcar in the cold November rain

just got home… I’ll write up more late if you guys are interested but here is some footage that I just got up:

my best weather stint sunday morning 120mph, 2:26.4 best:

Saturday morning in the rain when I could see:

Saturday morning when I couldn’t see: (go to 6:10 to see a spinning neon almost tag me)

I like the volt meter strapped to the dash.

what’s more chumpy than a free harbor freight voltmeter gauge. *- with coupon

in our other car the belt came off the alt. and the driver noticed the voltage dropping off and came in. Harbor freight saved the day!

I saw a rabbit heading to the Glen on Friday and couldn’t help but to laugh that their rain tires were Michelin X-Ice snow tires. Haha.

I’m sure that race weekend was quite a handful!

What kind of car are you racing? Teg?

yeah, we have two DA integras, this one is a GSR

Nice, is there a reason why more people race DA tegs and not DB or DC models.
Is it because they are cheaper?

VTTEECCCCCCC

Ugh I love the sound of b18 vtec engagement !

Sent from my iPhone 6

lol @ the mustang 2:05

DA are a lower valued car so you can mod them more and they’re like 98% as fast and good as the newer ones.

Thanks. Does the DA GSR have the B18C1 motor?

nope

According to Hondatuningmagazine.com Less than 5,000 units produced for both the U.S. and Canada, the 1992-93 Integra GS-R is considered by Honda enthusiasts to be a true classic. It was a standout amongst the influx of hot hatches and sport compacts that seemed to assault the U.S. market in 90s. In 1992-93 the Integra received minor cosmetic changes and updates. In the US a GS-R(DB2) model was added to the line up. It received a DOHC VTEC B17A1 engine with a slightly longer stroke then the B16A. The B16A engine received new intake manifold and cams and raised the VTEC engagement point (now 5500 rpm). The B17A1 engine found in the '92-93 GS-R model featured a 1.7L, DOHC VTEC powerplant that produced 160hp/117lbs-ft tq with an 8,000rpm redline and a VTEC crossover point of 5,500rpm

you need some sort of defogging system

it’s very rare for things to get this bad… but we’ll probably do something

we use paper towels wrapped around a broken broom stick which the driver leaves on the floor.

I left the blower motor & heater core in my race car to avoid all this.

Cool stuff

Well, we win races. A lot of races. We won this race.
eople with blower motors and heater cores don’t win races.

What series do you race in?

that’s cool, I have a few wins this year

i race with NASA in CMC

how much power does the teg make? weight? what kind of tire do you run?
