what you need bro… i’ve done a greddy tt in a mk1 mk3 mk4 … i should remember …
start by ripping the steering column off… then find 3 wires…
total black, total red, and black/red or black/yel…
well which wire is which, u remember? i need a 12v, an “ON” and an accessory
steerin column is apart, and wires are visible…
black is ground
12v is red
i dont need a ground tho…not under there, yet at least. just the 3 main wires. what does the “ON” go to?
red with black?..thats a constant power i think, so if so i wanna go into that one. but i dont wanna do it yet, cuase im not %100 positive
buy a voltmeter…test which wires do which…even a simple test light would work.
my bad… black is ign source… red is power… other is neg.
use a fuse in the panel for the switchable
black with yellow was the ON(source), all red was 12v, acc i used a fuse, and ground i used a body ground by the fusebox(didnt splice). works good
