I think its a great idea going to a comm college like hvcc. The credits transfer wherever and you pay a fraction of the cost you do at other big name schools. Im going to get my associates here at hvcc, then off to ualbany most likely. although from what i hear i need a 3.8gpa to get into the criminal justice program there. :eek Shouldn’t be a problem though

Worst part is I know all the shit they are “teaching me”. Hell on more than on ocassion in a graphics class i have corrected the teacher on an easier way to access or edit something. All my Management and Eco class i have never once ever lifted a book. College is a fucking waste
credits do not transfer where ever. HVCC has a relationship with other state schools so transferring to SUNY wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but that’s not the case with other schools.

I think college is becoming BS more and more. barring medical school and things of that nature. Standard college however i.e. liberal art, media arts, bus. management…all BS go get wasted party never pay attention and pass degrees now. They really teach such dumbed down garbage it makes me sick. I haven’t had a class challenge me in years
Also about credits transfering…Try transfering three times and losing over 48+ credits. yeah I fucking hate college
