attn whitey and mark

the head is on and torqued to specs. i also installed the timing belt and set cam/intermediate shaft and crank at zero. we are not running an upper timing belt cover!

however, i need a spanner wrench to hold the tensioner so the timing belt is not flopping around. this will have to be done tomorrow when i get there.

in addition, the exhaust housing bolts and the tiny “c” clip for the wastegate are on the magnetic tray.

so for tomorrow, get the 5 bolt flange bolted on, and remove the passenger side drive shaft using the triple square bit. word of advice, tap the triple square in the driveshaft bolt or it will strip as the heads are filled w/ grease. we may be making our own downpipe, so the driveshaft needs to be out of the way.

also, take the bumper off so we can mount the i/c and run pipes. have a long day ahead of us tomorrow…

woooohooooooo sounds like fun!!!

i hope you guys got a good nights sleep

good luck guys, wish i was still at school so i could come down and give ya some help
