haha! There you go Whitey!

What do they do if you buy the TV and get the popcorn maker - then return the TV?

that is awesome… only if i wasn’t buying a freaking house

I thought you already bought it?
When is the closing?

Everything is fun and games until you have a mortgage payment…

:sadwavey: to lotsa extra money. Trust me I know :frowning:

close on friday!

Did I hear Kegger at new house?

sure… you provide the keg

omg… i love movie style popcorn… id love to have one! mmmm… no joke im the type of person who will walk into a movie theater, order a bucket of popcorn and leave.

owning a house FTL…unless you are fat paid and wipe your ass with $100 bills

Yeah right, you’re high. Paying rent and making someone else rich FTL.

the man has a point, I’m starting to look at houses now too and its amazing for 1-200 dollars more in some cases you can own your house instead of rent every month

Yeah, and when your sewage backs up, YOU gotta pay for it. When you find out that none of the plugs in your house are grounded (cause your home inspector sucked) YOU gotta fix it. When your ceiling fan breaks, YOU gotta get a new one. When your bathtub drain leaks through your kitchen ceiling through a light fixture, YOU gotta repair it…

Personally, I’d rather call my landlord and have him deal with it… like my broken garage door opener.

owning > renting.

Yes you are right…paying rent is more so FTL…but when you are not fat paid owning a house isnt that cool. There are a ton of things I want to buy for my car or dirtbike or any other random thing that I cannot afford b/c I am paying for some kind of project for the house. Now we are pretty much somewhat finished up doing stuff to the house…we now want to start saving for another house…considering somewhat soon I want to have kids and hopefully will be making more $$ so I can upgrade as well.

house>rent, there is no disputing this. Only a true fucking moron would give money and equity to someone else for a long period of time. Even with having to fix everything, it’s still 9893748375892 times better than throwing money away.

x-azillion

That’s the worst argument I’ve ever heard. So, instead of paying your mortgage and gaining equity in a house, you’d rather pay $100 less and not have to worry about little shit like ceiling fans and backed up sewage?

You rent, you get NOTHING out of it. NOTHING. You own the house, you have equity, you have something to borrow against, you have a liquid asset that can be used.

Anyone that thinks renting is even close to owning a house is
