Yeah when I had my 1.8T it was $500 bucks.
Granted I didn’t have 4 modes to chose, but I really had no need for them.
I’m pretty sure that is for the ECU that is flashed.
Actually, this is way cheaper than replacing an ECU with a new one from the dealer.

No ECU included, you either mail them yours or go to an authorized dealer who will flash yours.
it does seem like a whole hell of a lot of cash for a chip. granted i never owned a 1.8t (aka the hand of god) but i got my tdi chip used for 150 or 200 and i think it was only 400 for the original buyer. but after chip and nozzles it moved pretty well. right around 150hp and 260 ft/lbs thats up from the stock 90/150…
