We have decided to make DMCC Downsview the final round for Pro AM. It will be a double points event so everyone still has a chance to make it to the top ranks! Top 3 drivers will be awarded with a DMCC Pro license for the 2009 season!

Okay guys. This is still a preliminary schedule and information post. There is still a lot of stuff to be determined but I’ll spill everything that we know for now.

Amateurs will be practicing and qualifying on the Friday. The times have yet to be decided but we’re trying our best to push qualifying back as far as possible.

Load in will be Thursday, Aug. 14 between 10am to 6pm.
Gates will open on Friday, Aug. 15, 8am for drivers.

The cost will be $150.

Registration for amateurs must be submitted by Aug 9th. We will not be able to take drivers at the door on Friday. If you have issues contact wayne@driftops.com

Please tell me there will be a tire machine at this event for us Pro Am Drivers to use ? even if its at a cost… its going ot be pretty annoying to change tires from friday preactice to saturday event…need to know !

It is important that you review the entire schedule and be on time!

Wheels Direct

  • Wheels direct is officially sponsoring the driver search.
  • There will be a tent setup in the pits for all amateur drivers to use.
  • They will provide help and some tools (jacks, torque wrench)

Prizes (preliminary)

    5th-8th $50
    9th-16th $30
    17th-30th $20

Some other important notes:

  • Make sure you arrive by 8:00am Friday Morning for the MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING!
  • Helmets are mandatory. Borrow, share, kill, steal. Just make sure you have one whenever you are driving on track.
  • There will be a tire changer on site. $15/tire.
