Looking for pistons, rings, rods, anything you may have that can go into a building a b16b. Any help is appreciated before I order stuff figured id see who has left overs in their closet collecting dust. Thanks
Rings will be a standard 81mm . I believe I have rod bearings and rings laying around that will work if you need them.
Here is some info to help you get what you need.
yes b16b rods are stamped “p72” but they are NOT the same as p72 b18c1 rods. they are longer.
b16a stroke is 77.4mm. b16b stroke is also 77.4mm
deck height on the b16b block is 212.39mm
deck height on the ITR and GSR block is also 212.39mm
deck height on the b16a block is 203.25mm
and just to be absolutely clear on this, ALL B16B RODS ARE STAMPED P72 BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS GSR OR ITR RODS!!!
rod length:
gsr: 137.90mm
itr: 137.90mm
b16b: 142.30mm
b16a: 134.00mm
and to correct user “97CTR” the r/s ratio is actually 1.84. and while the b16a crank and b16b crank have the same stroke they are NOT the same and are NOT interchangable, b16b crank uses the gsr/itr size main bearings and is a bit heavier due to its being fully balanced.
