eh…i ran 12.7’s last year on street tires in a fwd dsm,i was at the track every week plus street racing a good bit and put 15,000 miles on it and only broke one axle.not too bad if u ask me for “rice”
BTW i know 12.7’s isnt fast but dammit its fwd

seemed if they where heavy modded things just went down hill
after 15,000
rx7 for sure! those basterds allways needed rebuilt
but i have respect for 240’s with sr20det swap
not saying all rice is bad just want i have came across and the money ive seen spent for them just to break into the 12~ makes me glad i bought a ls1

supra is in the 12’s with barely any mods, RX7 are in the 12’s with bolt-ons, and AWD DSM’s are in the 12s with as little as an exhaust, boost controller, 16G turbo and a few other little things.
RX-7 being the only one of those with reliability problems due to teh aftermarket mods… and if you know what youre doing with an RX-7 and upgrade the cooling system and stuff, then they are fairly reliable…
DSM’s trannys suck ass and break when they are 15 sec cars and when they are 8 sec cars…
