Semi-off topic question I’ve always wondered - Does landing in the water like that damage or degrade the material of the chute at all, or is it a material that’s not affected by water?
“they” say that a freshwater landing is like doing 25 jumps on a canopy, and a saltwater landing is like doing 50. That’s just what “they” say and probably isn’t based on a lot. I will probably replace this canopy at the end of 2013 if it doesn’t rip by getting hung up on something or get confiscated before that.
Thanks!
Good luck with this all and have fun!
I don’t remember seeing this one before…

Out in Idaho currently. Did my first double gainer, first front flip and first tweener, which is pictured below. Basically you do a slow gainer and when you’re on your back you throw the pilot chute between your legs but as you rotate around you clear the bridal and in theory, open once you rotate to your stomach.
By far the best pic yet.
Another from the bridge:
This AM.
Sorry for the GRAM…
First frontflip off an antenna.
Those pix are awesome
Last one is awesome! Thought about trying a wing suit?
I have a wingsuit. Never jumped it in a BASE environment, only out of a plane.
Paging 97FormulaWS6…
Nice shots!
That looks like an absolute BLAST.
I will both fix and improve your link
Ha, saw that on reddit. Include the title that was given though!
After being off for a few months made a couple jumps off a great cliff. Good to be back. (here’s my buddy Bill sending it)
