Battling it out in a Warzone

Well guys here’s some pictures of the work I’ve done with my bro and i believe it’s coming along pretty good.

We primed the car first with 4 rattle canit covered quarter panel doors fenders and hood

Then Sanded the areas that showed the unevenest.

Now i’ll be sanding the car down with fin grit n block sand it b4 i start my stage 2 priming

The pic will show the areas that was uneven.

Quick note, you’re supposed to sand the whole car with a fine grit and a block not just the areas that look uneven. Sand the whole car like that and it will show you all the uneven parts and you can either fill or do what you must from there. Hand sanding it will not show you uneven parts, especially if you choose to just sand the “uneven looking” parts.

stiky lol thanks i forgot 2 mention that.

  1. may be you should fix the cracked bumper before painting it/even before priming it

  2. why are you prepping the car, even though there’s still 2 damn screws sticking out of the sides of the bumper?

The answer for your first question is… It’s been fixed.

The answer for you second question is… it’s already been dealt with.
Thanks for your concerns

LMFAO those were my silvia fenders that i tacked together for mock up on my old coupe throw those away man there junk! you will never make them straight unless you cut them apart and re weld them.

LOL, they’re alright for now i’ll judge it after i finish my work

^^ the above post in reply to Terry’s post above his completely goes against my “do it right or do it twice” motto.

But since he’s cheap as fuck, he’ll probably do it once and just cover it up with something else.

Seriously man, I’m not trying to discourage you, I’m just letting you know.

Like seriously, that shit doesn’t even line up… Look at the fender and hood lines…

Oh, and are the headlights + Silvia center piece still being held on by zipties or was that already addressed?

never had it held up by zipties

randys coupe lol

hey may i ask how much u bought this car for ?? lol

its been said already, he got it for free… man have people forgotten how to read. Anyways, I hope your not working and getting paid just to fix this car up. I know you may like it, but a cars a car man. IMO, make it into a track beast, cause if you EVER plan on selling that thing, you wont get much for it, if anything.

Aside from the criticism, I applaud you for the effort you’ve put into this car so far. I’m assuming you’ve just started out, you’re learning as you go. Everyone has to walk before they run, so GL and godspeed.

Thanks alot bro my plan was to get it done before September but sadly it’s going to be harder then i thought. check ur pm btw ryan

will do…

pm replied my man…remember, its a learning tool.

i soo agree with you and thanks alot with the feed back

no worries, anytime

That front end is nice. Dont hate people… Everyone starts from someplace. and if hes doing the work himself good shit my man. best of luck to yah. its looking better

Take your time man. do it once and do it slow, like the guys say. if you take your time and do it properly youll be happy with the job.

Whats wrong with having a Silvia front end? its baller.

Keep us updated Ryan on how its goin.

WOW, this looks a billion times better!

Don’t listen to the haters on here, or out in the real world. Just remember, a shitty project will always be shitty until you put the time and effort into doing things right.

Best of luck on this, looking forward to seeing some more progress as it evolves!
