Best Harley / Chopper / Old Iron Forum? - 39 Knuckle Build

Let’s be serious. There are 832985438765438765873465873 more wanna be tough guy Harley riders than there are hipster Harley riders. Being associated with hipsters would be the least of my concerns

*unless I was a wanna be tough guy brooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I’m not in with that group either. As my bike has been in storage for 2 years. I have been busy racing and dealing with the race bikes. Currently having fun doing that. I’ll never sell it. So I’m in no rush.

But hipsters suck so bad they are counted as more then one. I’m thinking they suck tenfold. So it’s close between the hipsters and the wanna be tough guys. Both suck. I saw a flannel wearing skinny jean faggot on an old Triumph-that was saddening.

there is a whole slew of shitty people who drive cars. looks like you better stop driving cars too.

and you can run an open primary without a disgustingly lame 3" belt. seriously there is no way that shit was around on choppers in the 60’s.

yeah this is pretty accurate.

Both my old bikes have open primaries and both have 1.5" belts. I’m not opposed to open primaries, I love them. But the 3" fat belt is just nauseatingly cheesy. I don’t know if you can even install one without putting on a super pointy air cleaner and spiked axle nuts.

I’m not riding a Harley currently, so I’m not sure what group you’re trying to put me in.
I’m telling you what I was told about the bike. Take it or leave it, I really don’t care.
Tons of shitty people, with shitty self entitled attitudes.

Thats why I choose neither.

Yup. Seems like there is a clear line of fggy hippies and non-fggy hippies just in this thread lol.

“nauseatingly cheesy” and “disgustingly lame 3” belt" again your styles and opinions. Same opinion I have about your flamboyant colors and schemes. I also know two bikes that had spike axle nuts 25+ years ago.

This thread needs more pics of Knuckles…

That 4Q knuckle (which is the only picture that loaded) is really great.

Big drive on a knuck lookin halfway decent. Doesn’t have a big stupid side cover on it which helps.

Early inline springer looks good. That brake disc not so much

(Note it still has a suicide clutch and jockey trans tho )

Bike looks good. Aesthetically, I agree, those discs leave a lot to be desired. I think even non drilled rotors would look less out of place. Functionally, I get going discs over drum. Sucks too as spoke wheels kick ass and hiding them is lame.

Man, lots of panties twisted over this stuff…

Any updates?

Out of curiosity, do the belly numbers match?
