I dont know how this is possible and the articles are very vague. Its hard for my Mustang to get 16 mpg.

Seriously gusy this is not that hard to udnerstand already has been touch on. Take a v8 and cut it done to only one or two cylinder when in city and when on the high run on six to eight. Kinda like how some of the reatarded hondas run.
