The only reason the Gt500 & modded ones dont do so well is because they are very front heavy, so they spin like fuck. Im tired of hearing everyone say omg they are balls slow, get a nice dr on it and they fuckin move. Guy at LVD had intake and an axle-back, hes going 11.5X@126 with 18" drag radials.

ur supposed low 3 second time does not justify this sub 2 second claim. One full second faster in 0-60 is a HUGE difference. U r right, low 3 second time is not that hard, but a time under 2 seconds def is.

So far on the Gt500 the whipple is making more power. 810rwhp with no other mods is pretty decent imo. Evolution motorsports just did a TT conversion on it :bowdown, cant wait to see that finished up!

I never said it was balls slow, im not disrespecting anything from shelby either, by far the supernsake is the most powerfull mustang package avaliable to the consumer with 600 to 725hp pending how you have them tune it, mustangs are known for being front heavy, my point is a gt will run you 30 grand, send it to steeda and for 30 more you get a car that will run circles around a shelby gt500kr out of the box. for like twenty grand less…yes the msrp on the shelby is like 45 but everyone knows those mother fuckers are gougeing them out at fucking 80grand…80 gs for a 540hp tank…and they are tanks all mustangs are tanks their heavy mother fuckers because they refuse to put fiberglas on them. all im saying is a q650 has 50 horse more then a supersnake base backage and 75hp less then the top package supernsnake. and it has 110 more horse then the gt500kr, and its less money. with all respect to shelbyautomotive they could have done much better with the car. the problem i have with the shelbys is they pull depressing numbers like 0.93g (supersnake) and 0.87 for the gt500 on a skid pad. the steeda out performs both cars with a 1.2g on the skidpad , quater mile in 11.3 at 125 and it does all this with less power 650hp out of a 5.0liter than the 5.4liter 725hp supersnake, where stock Shelby GT500 runs with 5.4 liter 540hp a 0–60 mph of 4.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.8 seconds, the supersnake with 725hp does 0-60 in 4.2, traps 119.9 at 12.5… im not saying anything bad about shelby cars im just saying if you want somthing thats more worth it out of the box i would buy a q650, its a land missle with the grip of a geico. its just my opinion based on the information i know to be true of the three cars. its not like i would pass up owning a shelby, but if i had a choice id probly buy the supersnake and then send it to steeda for an over haul i can see the model name already. I would of loved to see a full tubular suspension and it weighing in at 3400 or less. The Steeda’s are an animal of a car, fast in a straight line and the corners.
