There are a dozens of places locally so can anyone chime in with places they’ve dealt with? Who pays well and is easy to work with, free pick up, etc.
free pickup is going to cost you alot of cash off what the vehicles worth.
Scrap is in the range of 100 - 130 a ton, by choice I offer 50 - 75$ for everything and pick up for free, if it has a title.

Nope, I just buy cars, sometimes haul em right to junk, other times use them for various parts or field bombers.

Cars right now are $110 a ton.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TITLE, lol, just the way it has to be.
We do pick ups, but it would be roughly $75 a ton picked up and depend on where the car is.

Twin Village on Broadway is the best place I have dealt with.
They will pick it up but that will cost you. Try to get it there yourself if you can.
The only thing you need is a title to junk it. Pull the tires off because they dock you for rubber. Also, cut all the wiring off and junk that seperately as copper.
