I actually have a purple extreme switch here on my desk.
I just copied the contents of BF1942, BF2 and COD to my HDD… it is shared on the network.
I DL’d all of the patches and a bunch of mods for people to pull off the network.
I have 4 PC’s running off of the same key for BF2 no problem… they are on the same outlet too.
Power is a concern of mine… thats why I bought a UPS today while I was at Circuit City.
I have a 24 port Dell in front of me… and another 24 port gigabit switch coming later in the night… just to compare the 2.
Since I just got my BF2 disk back from a friend… I realized it won’t play in 1920x1200… thought that was weird.
COD5 won’t play on 1/2 of the machines…
I can’t even get COD4 to work on a couple of these. I’m hoping some of my fellow nerds in attendance will be able to figure it out.
As far as people from here coming… it is still a standby list.

Thats 20 per breaker… so 10 comps. I might have 2-3 breakers for the basement, so I should be fine.
And I know someone is going to post “well my PSU says 4amps” that is max amps and not what they pull all the time…

What do you mean power is a concern of yours? Spikes? A UPS won’t control draw at all…
As for the power issue… install more breakers to shorten the load on each circuit. Know any electricians who can hook you up? Does your breaker box have any open spots?
Do not attempt to do this alone… you will end up dead
